Warm Beach is a Free-Methodist church located in Stanwood, WA just 30 miles north of Seattle. Warm Beach is led by Lead Pastor Morgan MacPherson, who recently transitioned to the lead pastor role at the church, but has been on staff for the past three and a half years. The church currently has an in-person 11:00a service with additional times offered online. Pre-COVID the church offered both a traditional service and two modern worship services. Currently the church offers a blend in styles which changes from week to week.
The church is seeking the right candidate to take over as the new Associate and Worship Pastor to help cast vision, develop and resource the staff, and oversee their worship ministry. This person would be more hands on with the modern worship services. The right candidate will have a deep personal life in Christ and the character and capacity that align with the church’s overall mission and vision. Below are the qualifications and responsibilities Froot Group and the church have identified for this role:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Meet regularly with the Lead Pastor to discuss ministry strategy and development of the discipling plan for WBC.

- Provide pastoral care alongside the rest of the pastoral team.

- Have read and agree to live by the expectations laid out in Chapter 3 of the Book of Discipline.
- Be responsible to the authority of your pastoral and staff leaders.
- Respect the zero-tolerance policy regarding gossip.
- Instead of simply doing a job at WBC, consider our life together as a staff as an opportunity to be open, supportive and prayerful regarding the things God is doing in us, so that we may model the transformational community of Christ, which we teach.
- Attend all staff prayer and meetings when available.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Passionate follower of Jesus, comfortable talking about what the Lord is doing in their life.
